Where do you start?
Do start with the sketch first, or do you choose your card and papers? Do you decide on your stamp and colours first and then choose papers to match?
I seem to just stumble my way through each card and am starting to think that I should try and be a bit more organised when making a card
Anyway, I would be interested to hear how you go about things.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope to have a couple of cards to show in the next few days.

I mainly choose the image first, then pick the papers, then colour the image to match, the layout normally comes last. x

Im not very organised when making cards, but if anything i prob pick my image 1st then colours etc around it depending on what occassion its for.
I also have an award on my blog for you

Yeah, i pretty much choose the image and work around it. I always use the same sized card that i have bought alreay folded. I get the image and ut it down in the spot im happy with (not sticking down) then i add backgrounds flowers etc... :)

I tend to get out the stamp I want to use, then sort out some papers and then colour the image to match the papers. I have found this works best for me.
Have a good weekend

pretty much depends whether it's a particular stamp, sketch or papers I want to use. Whichever comes first the rest follow to suit but the colours I use on my image always comes last. Also lay everything out before sticking it all down though. xx

Just like Fran really. Depends on the theme ie sketch challenge, etc then choose the image and finally the colours. Also, I wait until I'm totally happy with the layout before sticking anything....even layering the image. Believe me, I've learned by my mistakes!!
Whatever way you're doing them is obviously working as your cards are fabulous!

Sarah, I seem to just muddle along and then are unhappy with the layout. Thank god for all these blogs to get inspiration from x

- Hi and welcome to my blog! I'm 34 & I married my perfect partner, Jon, in September 2007. I've been card making for a number of years now, but am still not overly confident in my cards. I love rubber stamping, especially penny blacks. I hope you enjoy!

Hi sarah :o)
Erm, I seem to make things up as I go along. I usually have some sort of idea of occasion/image/possible colours, but after that the layout and design just get created as I go along. More fun that way lol.
