Confessions of a bad blogger!!
I have managed to finish hubby's Valentine card, but I daren't post it in case he decides to pay a surprise visit!
When I have made it into the room, I've been getting very frustrated as I've been trying to get to grips with using my Coloursoft pencils and Sansador. I just do not seem to be able to grasp this technique at all, and my work looks very messy and untidy. I've seen so many people who have the most beautifully coloured images and it all looks so effortless. I don't seem to be able to get the colour to reach the centre of the area, or look neat. I'm using 160gsm cs and paper stumps from Hobbycrafts. If anybody can give me any tips/advice or point me in the direction of a good video tutorial I would be eternally grateful!
I hope you are all having a lovely, snow free weekend.

Hi Sarah,
I use Winsor & Newton 250 gram Bristol Board Extra Smooth Surface Drawing Pad. It has a very silky slightly shiny surface. You can get it at hobbycraft on the artists equipement.

Hi Sarah,
You could try using Winsor & Newton
250gram Bristol Board - Extra Smooth Surface Drawing Pad, you can get it at hobbycraft. Its got a very smooth slightly shiny surface so its easier moving the colour around with the sandsor.

Hi Dear, the only advice I can give you is to make sure that the cardstock you are colouring is uncoated, as it dosn't work properly on coated cardstock. I cannot remember where I got mine from I will try to find out for you dear.

I think it depends on what CS you are using and also I have found that some of the colours blend better than others. Some time I go round the inside of the lines with my image and blend inwards, some time I colour it almost all in being darker at the outsides and then blend with the sansodor. I hope you are well xx

- Hi and welcome to my blog! I'm 34 & I married my perfect partner, Jon, in September 2007. I've been card making for a number of years now, but am still not overly confident in my cards. I love rubber stamping, especially penny blacks. I hope you enjoy!
